Terms and Conditions
Hire Process
1.1 If Subscribing to our Weekly, Fortnightly or Monthly Plans, the hire payments are debited on that subscribed schedule, in advance. This process will continue until you inform our company that you wish to end your hire. There is a minimum 3, 6 or 12 Months on hires (depending on the rate you signed up for), unless otherwise specified.
1.2 If Renting through our office for a custom term hire, you must notify us toward the end of the hire period if you wish to end the Hire. If you do not inform our office that you require the machine collected, the rental will roll into the next instalment, at the same rate/duration as the initial hire, and payment will be due. The Product remains on Hire until you inform our office that you wish to end your Hire, and have the equipment collected.
Delivery & Pickup
2.1 Delivery & Home Installation pricing varies on your area – please see our Delivery Page for pricing
2.2 Delivery & Installation costs, if required, is due upfront.
2.3 It is your responsibility to select the correct delivery option at checkout (e.g. Ground Floor, Stairs, Location). If you select Ground Floor Delivery and our team arrives to find stairs are required, the delivery will be cancelled and a failed delivery fee will apply. Redelivery will need to be rebooked and paid for under the correct delivery option.
2.4 Collection after the Hire Period is charged when you are ready for collection - please see Delivery Page for pricing
2.5 If you choose to collect the item from our Warehouse, you are required to return the item to our warehouse after your rental. If you require us to collect the item from you, our standard collection fee applies - please see our delivery page for pricing.
2.6 All returns to our warehouse need to be pre-booked, as our warehouse is not manned standard hours.
Ending The Hire
3.1 Please contact us if you wish to cease the Hire, and schedule collection.
3.2 As your Weekly/Fortnighly/Monthly rental is paid in advance, please contact us to cease your rental plan, prior to the next payment being processed.
3.3 We do not pro-rata refund any hire fee’s once the weekly/monthly payment is processed.
Purchase After Hire
4.1 Should you wish to purchase your machine during the rental contract, please notify us.
4.2 You can apply 50% of your total rental paid toward the Purchase.
4.3 Purchase Pricing is reflected on the product pages of the rental website. This is RRP, and not spot Sale Pricing.
4.4 You have the option to purchase anytime after the minimum rental period.
Liability
6.1 Any injury caused by the misuse of equipment is the responsibility of the customer. If you are not sure about the correct use, please contact our team and we will happily run you through your concerns.
6.2 Damages or Loss will be charged to the customer at RRP, for the replacement.
Rental Payments
7.1 Payments are debited Weekly, Fortnightly or Monthly, depending on your chosen subscription.
7.2 Rental Payments start from date of order. Any initial gap between order & delivery will be credited onto your account to be used at the end of your hire. Should you delay delivery of the product for whatever reason, you are still charged the weekly rental.
7.3 Please make sure you have the allocated funds available on your card ready for each debit.
7.4 Should your payment decline, you will automatically be sent a notification email alerting you, which you should immediately rectify the lack of funds in your account.
7.5 Payment will then be reattempted at the following intervals: 12 hours later, 24 hours later, 48 hours later. Each declining payment results in an automatic notification via your email.
7.6 A $33.00 Dishonour Fee is charged for any payment overdue further than 7 days.
7.7 Should payments be in arrears for more than 2 weeks, Pace Fitness Hire reserves the right to collect the equipment & charge the remaining minimum contract terms (remaining weekly/monthly instalments) in their entirety. Failure to pay out the remainder of your contract will result in legal proceedings, and may include extra recovery fee’s.
